My friend Thomas Earman Shifflett taught me this song. He's now with the Lord. I learned a lot from him and Eugene Hall who is also now with the Lord. Two older friends I'm thankful I had. (My third original album is named in memory of them both.) I recorded this at an open mic a friend Aubrey hosted.
You can hear at the end of the video a police call from an officer's walkie talkie. For all the emergency first responders doing their best to do their job the right way. Thanks! I pray we don't judge all of you for the ones that don't.
