I am politically independent and look right at the issues themselves. I agree with different parties about different things. I have friends and family who I love on both sides of the political aisle. As the Christian saying goes, no matter who wins the White House, JESUS Christ will always be on His throne. I absolutely do believe in Christians praying to JESUS Christ about asking Him to reveal the correct candidate to vote for through the Holy Spirit.
For me this time around
-Title-9 protecting women's privacy and opportunities (Such as college athletic scholarships to help pay for their education.)
-Defending the rights of unborn babies from late term abortion procedures that undoubtedly cause them harm since they have a heart beat, brain, and functioning nervous system.
-And protecting children (underage/minors) from irreversible sex change procedures.
These are some of the major voting issues for me this year.
That being said, I pray for both candidates that they see the Light of JESUS Christ; know that blessings in life, all of creation, and life itself are gifts that come from the GOD of love; and I hope the candidates truly want to be public servants for the greater good of the citizens of America.
Let's agree to disagree when he must, and try to love each other despite our differences. When engaging in one-on-one conversations with people in the general public we can, respect each other's civic liberties, and go by the rule of thumb momma taught us, 'If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all.' I believe that JESUS Christ loves everyone, if that is where someone wants their conversation to stop with me, then I've already said enough!
